Project R:The Red Room Set

- I wanted a room that felt like a Graphic punch, bold, minimal and completely immersive.

Step One: The Sketch

The idea was simple: every surface, every piece of furniture, every object had to exists within the same red universe. I sketched the furniture placement first, mapping how the eye would travel through the space. No distractions. Just pure, unbroken color.

Step 2: The Bones

With the sketch locked, I built the room from the floor up. Walls were framed and measured, then coated in multiple layers of deep red paint until the tone was exactly right. The furniture was sourced and modified to match- sprayed, upholstered, and positioned according to my original layout. Every line had to feel intentional.

Step 3: The Finish

This phase was all about texture and depth. I added subtle sheen variations- matte walls, satin furniture, glossy surfaces on select props- to keep the room feeling flat. The styling was pretty precise: every object placed exactly or very close to my sketch and about where it should be with no clutter, no excess.

Step 4: The Result

The final set is bold enough to hold it’s own in a commercial ad but stripped back enough to let the product (or talent) take center stage. It’s clean, it’s confident, and it’s exactly what I drew.
